28/3/2018

As part of Topic, Year 3 were constructing Roman temples this morning. After creating the roof and pediment, we built columns to attach to our structures. Here are some of our photos.

Year 3 were busy practising their observational skills this afternoon during Art with Julia. Here are some of their beautiful, detailed sketches of herbs.

Science Day 2018

14/3/2018

On Tuesday, we celebrated Science Day. In Year 3, we learnt two exciting experiments and taught them to visitors from the rest of Year 3 and Year 5. It was a great success!

Tony De Saulles

12/3/2018

To kick off Science Week, we were lucky enough to have a visit from author Tony De Saulles, who has just written a book called Bee Boy: Clash of the Killer Bees. Tony drew some illustrations from the book, explained how important bees are and how they are in danger. He also sang us the song he wrote to celebrate his new book!
