Google Meet for Class 10
What do you see in the clouds?
1. Look out of the window or go outside and look up to the sky. Do not look directly at the sun.
2. Look at the clouds carefully and let your imagination start to form pictures in your mind.
3. What you can see? Here are some examples from the author Chris Judge:
Lesson 1: Literacy
Lesson 2: Maths
2) Spend 15 mins at least on Times Tables Rock Stars.
It is important you watch the video lesson first and then have a go at the activities underneath the video screen as we haven't looked at division for a while.
I have included the answers for you to check once you've completed as much of the activity as you can do.
Remember you can write out the activities and calculations on paper, you don't need to print them out.
Lesson 3: Computing and ICT Skills
To help you do this we are going to use the Purple Mash 2Type app.
Go to 2Type and practice your typing skills using the home row key activities, there are three to choose from.
Each part of the keyboard uses specific fingers on your left and right hand as the home row key activity in 2Type will remind you.
If you are feeling confident, you may have a go at the top and bottom row keys as well.
Remember your username and password for Purple Mash is the same as the one you use for Mathletics.
Well done for putting in lots of effort into your home learning.
We miss you all and hope that you're ok. Remember to email us on firstname.lastname@example.org to tell us how you got on with your home learning. You can also email us any questions or worries that you have.
Best wishes to you and your families,
The Year 6 Teachers
