Lesson 1: Numeracy

- the main independent task which shows you a number of slides with different equivalent fraction questions
- a quiz at the end of the lesson to show how much you have learnt from today's lesson or rather how much you have refreshed your memory on what you already know.
Lesson 2: Literacy
Today you will be using those sentences to create your own poem.
Have fun adding to your ideas and let your imagination run wild.

Lesson 3: History
- What are they doing?
- Why are they looking up?
- When might this have been?
Now, consider what some of these children might have been saying or thinking and record your thoughts in a speech bubble.
'I am speaking to you from the Cabinet Room of 10 Downing Street. This morning the British Ambassador in Berlin handed the German government a final note, stating that unless we heard from them - by 11 o'clock - that they were prepared at once to withdraw their troops from Poland, a state of war would exist between us. I have to tell you now that no such undertaking has been received and that, consequently, this country is at war with Germany.'
