On Wednesday 6th June we had an exciting and hilarious morning with Steven Butler, the best-selling author, talking about his new series, Dog Diaries. We also invited the Year 2 children from Blue Gate Fields Infants School to be part of the audience, with Years 3 and 4.
Steven Butler was really funny, and told us some crazy stories from his childhood before reading extracts from 'Dog Diaries'. As well as being a best-selling author, Steven is an actor, and brought the book to life. We also had the chance to try our hands at drawing the main character, Junior.
Afterwards children were able to buy one of Steven's books, which he signed for them. The bookstall was provided by Denise and Kalina from Brick Lane Bookshop.
