'Pie in the Sky' by Remy Lai was voted the winning book of the Tower Hamlets Book Award 2020. Hundreds of pupils in the borough (aged 10 - 13) took part online. Remy was one of 7 guest authors and illustrators present at the finale to receive the news. Remy joined us online from Australia even though it was around midnight for her!
Blue Gate Fields Juniors' entry to the presentation competition was based on 'Pie in the Sky'. We had great fun filming it, and it is very funny! We made some amazing masks – and we had a special Book Award cake, too!
