Philosophical Enquiry
Planning for philosophical enquiry, using the practices of P4C, is organised developmentally to support pupils in building a community of enquiry, developing reasoning and thinking skills and the ability to reflect and take action. Language development is key for planning, with teachers using progressively challenging language structures to aid children in framing their talk.
