On 30th September 2016, a group of parents went on a boat trip from Tower Pier to Westminster Pier. They sat back, relaxed and enjoyed the sight seeing cruise for the day. It was different from their normal household chores! The autumn day seemed too short-lived but it was an exceptionally brilliant sunny day.
The highlights of the day included the landmarks that their cameras caught on film as they passed through the heart of London...the Tower of London, Tower Bridge and the not too distant view of the Shard.
When they got off at Westminster Pier, they walked and had a closer view of the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben,Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. At St James' Park, they broke the journey for lunch and then carried on to Green Park.
A lovely day was had by all!
