School Council
The School council meets weekly and is an opportunity for pupils to have a voice in school.
The Council is made up of class elected representatives from all of the classes and year groups.
The meetings are a way for pupils to bring ideas, suggestions, concerns and even complaints from their classes to be discussed with other Council members and staff members.
The School Council is proud to have run competitions, surveyed pupils about their attitudes towards school and created promotional films – they have even been involved in the recruitment of new staff!

This week, we continued coming up with ideas of how to show kindness at school and voted on our favourite idea. We decided that the most effective way of spreading kindness around our school was to make a video...
One of our fantastic School Councillors made this brilliant poster, which gives examples of how to be kind:
Week 3: How can we show kindness at school?
This week, we built on our understanding of kindness and discussed what we can do in school to show kindness. We read, 'Pass It On' by Sophy Henn, which inspired lots of practical ideas. We can't wait to put these ideas into practice!
Week 2: How can we show kindness?
