Class 3 had lots of fun doing a scavenger hunt around the classroom to discover various objects and finding out the Spanish translation. Class 2 have being doing more exciting observational drawing with Liz. This time, we focused on kitchen utensils lying on a bed of fabric and newspaper. Today, we added a colour to our drawings.
Class 1 were debating whether people were born good at something. They used building blocks to make sure they all took turns to talk and listen to each other's opinion. In Louise's class we have been using dienes in place value columns to help show the value of digits in a number. Class 2 have been working with Liz, our specialist Art teacher, to make observational drawings of some beautiful plants.
Year 3 have been busy learning about volcanoes. Have a look at some of the erupting volcanoes we created!
Year 3 have been busy learning about the Earth and its layers. We used modelling clay to construct the world from the inside out!
