We have had a really interesting time learning how to make different toys during our Design and Technology lessons. The first toy that we created was a mechanism made out of card and paper fasteners. When you slide the pieces of card from side to side, two objects move up and down. Ask a member of Year 3 to show you their creation.
Our new project is a spinning toy which is made out of pieces of cane, thread and wooden dowels. We have been learning to tie knots and to use a hacksaw safely to cut a piece of dowel to the correct size. We look forward to sharing more photos of our toys soon.
