Create your Victorian silhouette portrait.

During the Victorian Era, silhouette portraits became very popular. Back then, cameras were a very new invention and only the rich were able to afford to get their picture taken or a painting of themselves made for them.

Silhouette portraits were quick and affordable so many people were able to get them done.

You can create your own Victorian silhouette portrait at home. You will need:

- a light
- paper
- a pencil or a marker
- someone to help you trace
