Lesson 3: PSHCE
It can feel very frightening being separated from our friends and family and away from school and other places that we enjoy visiting. It is OK to feel scared! Sometimes we need to be reminded of all the beauty and love all around us.
Watch this video to remind yourself of some of the incredible habitats, animals and plants that help to make our world such a beautiful place.
Thinking about others can also help us to stop feeling scared. Have a go at this kindness lotto. Cross off each act of kindness when you’ve done it, but don’t forget to also do something kind for yourself!
If you enjoyed the first video, don’t miss this one!
Before we finish, write a list of some of the fun things you’d like to do over the summer holidays!
It might be playing in the park, helping your adults to bake, reading five books, learning to tell the time, anything you like!
Tick each thing off once you’ve done it.
Use this sheet if you like.
End of the day:
Great work today! Today’s story is called Here We Are by Oliver Jeffers. Oliver Jeffers wrote this story for his baby son.

Remember to keep reading over the summer holidays and practising your times tables and telling the time.
Most importantly, though, remember to relax, have fun and enjoy your summer holiday! You deserve it after all of your hard work this year! We cannot wait to see you next again!
