Good morning Year 3! It's time for a new term of lessons. We are sad that we aren't in the classroom with you but we hope that these activities will keep you busy and entertained at home. Remember that we are always interested in how you are so if you want to send in your work or even if you just want to say hello, please email as year3@bgfjs.org - don't forget to tell us your name and class so we know who it's from!

Here is your timetable for the day:

Before you begin, here is a picture for you. What do you see, think and wonder?

Some questions you might try to answer could be:
Why does he live at the foot of a tree?
Who else lives there with him?
What do you think it’s like living in a forest?

P.E.

Let's start the new term off with some exercise. Remember to get some water, do some stretches then join in with Joe's workout.

________, ________ ground.

You could use the picture from the start of the day to help you think of adjectives.

Story Time

Well done Year 3, you've reached the end of your first day of home learning in 2021! Now sit back and relax on your own or with your family and listen to the story A Planet Full of Plastic by Neal Layton. Neal visited Blue Gate Fields Junior School last year, see if you can see the picture of him in the lunch hall...
You’ve worked so hard today! Remember to email us at year3@bgfjs.org to tell us how you’re getting on.
Have a lovely evening!
