Hello year 3!
We hope you enjoyed your home learning this week. We know that some of you are running out of things to do by the time you get to the weekend, so we thought we would leave you with some fun activities to enjoy.
Please note that you do not have to complete these activities. They are just here in case you would like to do something fun!
Enjoy your weekend, and don't forget to stay active as much as you can!
Louise, Tatiana, Robyn and Bonnie.
P.s. Please send us any pieces of arts and crafts you have done over the weekend. We would love to see them- firstname.lastname@example.org
Have you heard of the artist Frida Kahlo?
Frida Kahlo was most known for her self-portraits. These are paintings that Frida painted of herself. She didn’t just paint herself but also added things around her in the painting. These were not just to make the painting pretty, but everything she had in the painting related to something about her.

Have a go at making your very own mouse. If you haven't got some of these materials, see if you could use something else.
Be as creative as you like!
If you've got a paper plate at home, see if you can make one of these puffins.
You could always use some scrap paper if you haven't got a paper plate.
Have you ever heard of Origami?
Origami, also called paper folding, is the art of folding objects out of paper. The word origami originated from Japanese oru, meaning “to fold” and kami, meaning “paper.”
Watch these videos and see if you can follow along to make your own objects out of paper. You can even decorate them at the end!
