In preparation for Anti-bullying Week on 12th November to 16th November 2018, Year 4 have been busy thinking about what makes a good friend. We thought that some characteristics of a good friend includes:
• being kind
• being helpful
• being honest
Kindness was the characteristic that children thought was the most important as it underpinned other characteristics. They found that when we choose to be kind, we not only make others happy but we also feel happiness ourselves. They decided to make friendship bracelets and write what it is that they like about the person they made it for.
