Did you know that Swedish scientist, Carl Linnaeus (in the 1700s) created a system of putting species into certain groups and giving them scientific names? This is what we call classification. Furthermore, each species is given a name using Latin words so that the same name can be used all over the world.
In Science today, we learned about classification - what it is and why we use it. We then had a go at classifying sweets by using closed questions ('yes' and 'no' questions).
