Design & Technology - Lampshade frame structures

Today, in Year 4, we were learning to construct a lampshade frame structure for our Design and Technology (DT) project - Oh! I do like to be beside the seaside.  First, we planned what materials we needed to build our lampshade.  Then, we discussed the order in which we would do it and the safety issues we might need to consider.  It was challenging but thoroughly enjoyable!  Take a look at our 3-D structures.  What do you think?  Next week, we will design and create a shell for our lampshade frame structure with Tony the DT specialist and we can't wait!
