23/10/2020

Good Morning!

Good morning!  How are you feeling this morning?  We hope you’re keeping safe and well
Picture

P.E. with Joe

Spend 30 minutes exercising with Jo Wicks. Remember, all of his videos are saved on his channel for you to use at another time. Remember to take a sip of water if you need one.

Break

After all that exercise you've earned a break.

Literacy

Use Active Learn Primary to read for 30 minutes. Make sure you read the pages carefully and answer all of the Bug Club questions.

Maths

Spend 30 minutes working on the tasks you've been set on Mathletics. If you complete them all you can try Meritopia or Live Challenge. After Mathletics, spend 15 minutes practising your times tables using Times Tables Rock Stars. Remember that your Mathletics and Times Tables Rock Stars usernames and passwords are the same. If you are having any troubles logging in, you can e-mail year4@bgfjs.org for help.

Lunch

First things first, remember to wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds before you eat!
Talk to a member of your household about what you've studied this morning. Do you have a favourite task?

Story Time

Now sit back and relax, enjoy a story told by Michael Rosen. Remember to also do your 20 minutes of independent reading too!
Well done for completing all of your work today.
Next week is half term, we hope you have a fantastic break. More home learning work will be published on Monday 2nd November.

Time for a brain break. Go grab yourself a drink and talk to someone about how you’re doing! Remember to wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds before getting something to eat or after going to the toilet!

Literacy

Use your Active Learn username and password to login. You should aim to read for at least 30 minutes. Make sure you answer all the questions!

Maths

Now, use your Mathletics username and password to login to Mathletics, and work on the units your teacher has set you. Then, practise your times tables on Times Tables Rock Stars.

Lunch

It’s time to relax. First things first, remember to wash your hands with soap for 20 seconds before you eat! What will you be devouring for lunch today? Something mouth-watering and deliciously healthy?

Story time

You have worked so hard today! It’s time to relax and listen to Christian Robinson reading his new book, You Matter.
Great work today!
Remember as well as working online, you can also come and pick-up a remote learning pack from the school office (feel free to call up to find out more). If you want to contact your teachers or show them your work you, or a parent, can e-mail year4@bgfjs.org.

See you tomorrow for another day of learning!
