Good morning year 4! We hope you are well. Well done for continuing to work hard . Former astronaut Chris Hadfield has been to space three times and was commander of the 35th mission on the International Space Station in 2013. Astronauts spend some time self-isolating before going on space missions to ensure that they do not get sick before going into space. They often spend many months away from their family and friends, so it can sometimes get a bit lonely. Chris has shared his top tips for people who are self-isolating during the coronavirus outbreak - click here to read them. What are your top-tips for self-isolating? Make a story map (or story board page 6) of your favourite of the two poems.
Now write a story version of this poem. Don't forget to use the descriptive tools that we have practised throughout Year 4 e.g. 2A sentences, fronted adverbials, interesting verbs.
We would love to read your stories - please send them in to us at year4@bgfjs.org
