The kites had to be attached with strings to their tails so they didn't get tangled and fly away. Some of the children's kites got tangled and they couldn't fly their kites. It was really windy and everyone had a great time!
Class 9 had a really fun time making the kites with paper, ribbon, straw and double sided tape,before they took them flying in Greenwich Park. It was really windy and everyone had a great time! Class 9 had a brilliant time at the planetarium learning about the planets and stars. They learnt that different planets in our solar system have different numbers of moons orbiting them. The planet Saturn has 60 rings around it. The rings are made out of ice. The Sun has two main gases in its atmosphere, the gases are hydrogen and helium. Did you know that the sun is 109 times bigger then the Earth!
