Last week, Alice's maths group did some fun, group activities to re-engage us with maths. When things got challenging, we reminded ourselves of the growth mindset strategies we can use.

- Septapods - A new species of dinosaur was found with 3 arms (each with 6 claws) and 4 legs (each with 8 toes). We used the information we were given to explore further...
- Sudoku - We started with colour sudokus and soon realised that they were more challenging than we first expected. We had to stop and remind ourselves that maths isn't a race and that in order to be successful, we had to be logical. Once we were confident, we moved to larger squares and number sudokus.
