Good morning Year 5!
Today marks the 200th anniversary of Florence Nightingale's birth in 1820. She was an inspiring nurse during the Crimean War, who saved the lives of many soldiers and overcame barriers stopping women from having a career and living fulfilled lives. Florence Nightingale and all of the healthcare workers, who are working hard during this time, are an inspiration to us all. If you would like to say 'thank you' to these heroes, click on the link below and get creative: |

Let's begin with a game! You can play this with siblings and other family members. To set up for the game, here is what you need to do:

We would now like you to have a go at the activity below:
- I enjoy exercising with Joe Wicks in the morning.
- When I am faced with a decision, I take my time and am careful.
- I enjoy learning new things, even if they are challenging.
- I like to read spooky books, which make me jump!
- I like spending time on my own to recharge.
