Buenas tardes, clase! Today, follow along as Lauren reads you the story of “El Perro y su Reflejo.”
Below is a word bank from the story. Pick 5 words, write them in Spanish, say them out loud, and then draw a picture to help you remember!
Picture
On a separate sheet of paper, make sure you write today’s date en español- martes el 19 de enero 2021. Next, copy these two sentences and draw boxes underneath them for drawings just like how you see below:

In the boxes, draw what is happening in each sentence.

Lesson 4 -  Sock puppet
Puppets are a great way to enjoy playing inside a book – being different character, acting out the story , playing with the language of a book.
Make a puppet to represent one of the characters in a story you are reading! You might decide to make a character from the story Max the Brave by Ed Vere which we will be enjoying later on during story time.

Click on the link below to learn how to make your very own sock puppet.

Storytime
Sit back and enjoy listening to Ed Vere read his story: Max The Brave.
If you decided to make a sock puppet of Max then you might want to use it to retell the story to a younger sibling.
