To support our setting descriptions linked to Macbeth, we discussed how authors build tension when describing a storm. We explored our understanding through reader's theatre and focused on our expression as we performed.
Year 6 visited the Ragged School Museum to experience a lesson in a Victorian classroom and learn what school was like for Victorian children. While Y6 children enjoyed our visit, they did admit that they much prefer what school is like today!
Class 10 have been researching countries in the world that speak Spanish as their first language. They created travel brochures to show what they have found out. Which of the countries would you like to visit? |
