In class 11 we have been learning about Henry Moore, who was an artist commissioned by the British Government to draw paintings and sketches of people who were hiding from air raids in WII (World War 2). He drew pictures when the evacuations happened and when the Londoners hid in the railway stations.
Class 11 have been fortunate to learn about his paintings and sculptures, and also to have a go at drawing in the same style for ourselves. We used oil pastels to create the same effect- so the pictures looked similar to how Henry drew in the late 1940s.
It was really tough to draw the templates for the railway station but at the end it became a lot easier.
