School Journey 2017

1/11/2017

From the 27th to the 29th of September year 6 went to the Margret McMillan house in Kent to spend some time outdoors and enjoy the fresh air and wild life. When we arrived at Margaret McMillan house, we had the opportunity to participate in an amazing range of activities.  These included high ropes, archery, zip lining, orienteering, a night walk, survival challenges and a party in the barn.

The survival challenge, which was my favourite, was especially fun because we made small fires, bread and a shelter as though we were in the wild. In the orienteering activity, which I also enjoyed, we used a map to find letters around the site and used the letters we found to unscramble a sentence.

Our time at Margaret McMillan house was very different to our daily lives in the city of London.  Everyone had such a great time.  We had an awesome party on the last night with lots of food and some dancing. I hope the next year six and the following have loads of fun, because we certainly did!
