Good Morning Year Six. It's Friday!
We know you are unable to see your friends at the moment and you miss them very much, but why not create your own Ramadan greeting card?
We will share your Ramadan greetings right here, on our Year 6 blog on Monday.
Remember to send them to us at:

9 - 9.30
1st lesson: Numeracy
Remember you don't have to print the questions out, just go through each of the 12 questions and answer them on paper, take a photo and send it over to us at firstname.lastname@example.org Thanks
2nd lesson: Literacy
- a variety of sentence structures (subordinate clauses, relative clauses, simple sentences to build pace and tension)
- a range of punctuation (colons : semi-colons ; commas , dashes - ellipsis …)
- precise vocabulary
- strong verbs and adjectives
3rd lesson: Computing
Use 2DIY 3D New and explore tools to make walls, add bad guys, etc. Make a simple practice game in pairs to learn how to use the tools – don’t worry about planning yet!
Use the built in Help videos to support when creating your game.
Build on your understanding from last week’s lesson (Friday 17th April Home Learning blog).
Once you are secure with the basic 2DIY 3D tools than use a Game Planning Sheet to plan/refine your game – Either on paper or use the Purple Mash Game Planner .
Save your finished game and if possible add it to the Purple Mash Class Display Board so that other pupils can play your games, using the share option from the
3 white lines on the purple rectangle in the top left hand corner.
End of the day: listen to Sinbad's Second Adventure
And just like that, we've come to the end of another home learning week. We hope you've enjoyed the activities as much as we've enjoyed creating them. Have a restful, calm weekend. We'll see you here again on Monday.
