9 - 9.30 P.E. with Joe Wicks

1st lesson: Literacy

1) Spend 30 minutes reading books and answering questions on Active Learn Primary

2) In this part of the lesson, we will use a clip from Shakespeare's Animated Tales and pictures from the clip to plan adjectives, verbs, adverbs, figurative language and adverbial phrases for each section of the clip. This will help us prepare for the  writing task which is a setting description of the heath. Remember to use the new vocabulary we have been exploring this week (bleak, dreary and malignant) in your writing.

2nd lesson: Maths

1) Spend 30 minutes completing activities on Mathletics.
2) Spend 15 mins at least on Times Tables Rock Stars.

4) Finally we'll look at the White Rose lesson on using inverse operations (addition and subtraction) to check answers to calculation. Look at the lesson video below and then have a go at the activity on the link underneath the video.
