A big thank you to Sania for allowing us to publish her introductory paragraph for her biography on the blog this morning. We loved how it read so well, like a real biography. She has organised her ideas in chronological order, used adverbials to link sentences and create cohesion and she's also woven in her stance. A strong authorial voice!
Well done, SANIA!
We'd love to share more examples of your writing on here so please do email us your work at firstname.lastname@example.org
1st Lesson: Literacy
1. Read the three extracts below which describe Annie's travels and her search for a livelihood.
2. Highlight or underline the key facts/information,
3. Summarise the information into notes (bullet point list)

Do keep the story map safe for tomorrow's writing lesson.
